Major cycleway planned for Papanui, controversial intersection to be upgraded

The Christchurch City Council has unveiled plans for a major cycleway in the Papanui area and upgrades at a controversial intersection.
The Wheels to Wings – Papanui ki Waiwhetū cycleway will provide a connection for local cycling trips in the Harewood, Bishopdale and Papanui suburbs.
Included in the plans is a reduction in the number of lanes on Harewood Rd from four to two.

The German shepherds are the first pets to live at the mansion since the Obama administration; a cat, whose arrival will ‘dominate the internet’, is also expected.

The social media network has finally left the cinephile niche and entered the mainstream. Early last decade, Matthew Buchanan and Karl von Randow, web designers based in Auckland, New Zealand, were seeking a passion project. Their business, a boutique web design studio called Cactuslab, developed apps and websites for various clients, but they wanted a project of their own that their team could plug away at when there wasn t much else to do.

The heat goes on in more ways than one this weekend as Woodville hosts the first major event of the 2021 motocross season.
With the weather tipped to break thermometers and entries in excess of 600 riders, the obvious popularity and continued growth of the annual New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix at Woodville should ensure another bumper weekend of race action.

Prince William’s ascension to the throne could bring about a major royal shakeup, it was revealed recently by a royal expert.
Princess Diana descended from two of King Charles II’s illegitimate sons which means the Duke of Cambridge’s succession could make him the first blood descendant of the monarch who takes over the throne, three centuries after his death.
Royal expert Robert Johnson made the observation on Twitter as he wrote: Diana, Princess of Wales, was descended from two of Charles II’s illegitimate sons; Henry Fitzroy, 1st Duke of Grafton and Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond.”
